Winter is coming! At the Europahalle, starting at the end of September, two brand-new pickleball hard courts with permanent nets will be waiting for you – the only professional pickleball courts in all of Vienna. This gives us the perfect foundation for our Winter Training 2025. We booked the prime time for you: 6-8pm!
To provide the right offer for as many players as possible, we will run three training groups this year – with clear structure, fair pricing, and plenty of motivation for all levels. Our goal: encourage players to also join the lower-level groups – these visits are free! The Sportunion Rackathletes Austria will organize all open play sessions – including those offered by the Pickleball Federation Austria.
As always, there will be 3-month subscriptions. Subscription holders have booking priority. We will start our training sessions in the first week of October.
Three Levels
Tuesday Group 18:00–20:00
Requirements:
- Membership in a club of the Pickleball Federation Austria
- DUPR 3.6 (men) / 3.9 (women) or higher and Reliability Score over 70
- Subscription via ON YOUR MARKS – blue tab PFA: €110 October–December 2025 or €15 per single visit
- Players with DUPR 5 and Reliability Score over 70 play for free
Wednesday Group 18:00–20:00
For players who already have experience and want to keep improving.
Requirements:
- DUPR 3.0 or higher
- Membership with Sportunion Rackathletes Austria required
- Subscription via ON YOUR MARKS – yellow tab Rackathletes: €100 October–December 2025 or €15 per single visit
- PFA subscription holders (if they are also Rackathletes members) play for free
- Players with DUPR 5 or higher and Reliability Score over 70 play for free
Thursday Group 18:00–20:00
The open group for everyone who simply enjoys the game – whether beginner, hobby player, or those who prefer a more relaxed environment instead of tournaments.
Requirements:
- No DUPR restrictions
- Membership with Sportunion Rackathletes Austria required
- Subscription via ON YOUR MARKS – yellow tab Rackathletes: €90 October–December 2025 or €15 per single visit
- Subscription holders from other days (if they are also Rackathletes members) play for free
- Players with DUPR 5 or higher and Reliability Score over 70 play for free
Your Advantage: Play More, Pay Less
The system is simple:
- Book Tuesday → play Wednesday & Thursday for free
- Book Wednesday → play Thursday for free
Always provided there are still spots available. Subscription holders have priority. Up to 24 hours before the training, all spots are reserved exclusively for subscribers. After that, players from other groups or without subscriptions can also sign up.

Maximum Participants
To guarantee optimal playing conditions, a maximum of 12 players per session is allowed. Only 12 subscriptions per group will be offered! First come, first served.
Criteria
With this system, we aim to bring both competitive players and hobby players together – and increase motivation. Because those who regularly play with stronger opponents will improve automatically.
As a general rule: Ambitious players may, after consultation and subject to availability, occasionally join higher-level groups at the regular price.
The current criteria have been set based on the level of our PFA tournament players. The criteria are oriented towards the current playing level of our tournament players. Should a player fall just short of the requirements, an exception may be granted upon consultation with the PFA (Tuesday) or with the Rackathletes (Wednesday).
