Spring Training 2026 Updates

We’ve had a strong winter season at the Europahalle’s new pickleball courts. On Tuesdays, players from four PFA member clubs in Austria have met weekly for focused, competitive matches. It’s been great to see this cross-club participation and the shared commitment to improvement.

As we move into spring, our goal is to continue building a structured, competitive environment that supports long-term development.

Tuesday Session Updates

Starting in April, players who would like to join the sessions every Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Europahalle are invited to meet the following criteria:

  • Membership in Pickleball Federation Austria Club
  • DUPR 3,5 or higher
  • DUPR reliability score 60 or higher
  • Participation in at least one DUPR-rated tournament within the past 3 months
  • Pay 120 € for the subscription April-June 2026 or 15 € per visit
  • Players rated DUPR 4.0 or higher with a DUPR reliability score of 70 or higher who participated in at least one DUPR-rated tournament within the past three months may participate free of charge.

To maintain quality and intensity:

  • Sessions will be limited to 10 attendees
  • Priority is given to subscription players
  • Justified exceptions may be granted
  • Players who participate free of charge are asked to give priority to abo-players when attending

How To Enter The Tuesday Session?

If you meet the criteria above and you want to join the PFA Tuesday sessions at Europahalle starting in April 2026, send an email naming your PFA member club and DUPR ID to tuesday@playpickleball.at to receive a payment link. Only 10 subscriptions will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

If not all spots are filled, guests who do not meet all criteria may be invited to join on a pay-per-play basis for 15€ per visit.

Why This Structure?

The Rackathletes continue to actively support player development by supporting and operating these sessions and opening spots free of charge to more experienced players. This raises the overall level on court and creates valuable opportunities for developing players to compete alongside advanced players. Find all the details on the Sportunion Rackathletes Austria website.

We’re looking forward to another focused and productive spring season. See you on court!
