At the win2day Open – the 2025 Austrian Tennis Championships held at Sporthotel Kurz in Oberpullendorf, it won’t be just top-level tennis drawing the crowds this year – Pickleball will make its debut as a major part of this high-profile sports event! On the final weekend, July 5–6, 2025, the 3rd Austrian Pickleball Championships presented by Racket Revolution will take place at the same venue. The tournament will be Austria’s largest and most prestigious national Pickleball event to date, embedded in the country’s most important national tennis competition. The Pickleball Federation Austria was also present at the official tournament press conference at Café Landtmann in Vienna.

Five Courts, Livestreaming, and Stars

Matches will be played on five Pickleball courts, with the Centre Court becoming the stage for thrilling action and emotional highlights – complete with high-quality livestreaming by Streamster. Registration is open to all Austrian citizens, as well as persons who have been registered in Austria for at least one year – via the RAQT app (Android) (iPhone)

Peter Robic, President of the Pickleball Federation Austria, was enthusiastic at the press conference: “This collaboration takes Pickleball to a new level. We’re thrilled about this opportunity to present our sport to a large audience.” Robic also took the chance to introduce Burgenland Sports Councillor Heinrich Dorner to the sport – and Dorner is planning to play himself during the event in Oberpullendorf.
